Kerala’s dental health initiatives get national recognition; other states to take cue

New Delhi: Kerala’s dental health initiatives were praised in the national review meeting conducted by the Union Health Ministry and the Centre for Dental Education and Research at All India Institute of Medical Sciences here, the state health department's media release said on Thursday.
The review team highlighted that Kerala has made a very significant growth in the dental healthcare sector. Kerala government's dental care-related initiatives like Mandahasam, Punchiri, Velicham, and Deeptham got appreciation in the review.
States like Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh, and union territories like Lakshadweep, and Puducherry have planned to implement these initiatives, the release noted.
