The wait for the Onam Bumper 2026 result is almost over. Kerala’s biggest-ever lottery prize of ₹30 crore will be decided in the draw on Saturday, with thousands of ticket holders waiting to find out who will win the first prize.
The Onam Bumper 2026 draw will be held at 2 pm at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. The inaugural ceremony is scheduled for 1.30 pm and will be inaugurated by Minister K. Muraleedharan.

The government sells each ₹500 ticket to agents for ₹411. After accounting for agency commission and GST, the government receives ₹268 from the sale of each ticket.
Onam Bumper 2026 first prize: How much will the winner actually get?
The headline prize is ₹30 crore, but the winner will not receive the entire amount in hand.
A 10% agency commission of ₹3 crore is deducted from the ₹30 crore prize. This leaves ₹27 crore for calculating income tax.
The basic income tax on ₹27 crore works out to ₹8.10 crore. A 25% surcharge on that tax amounts to ₹2.025 crore.
The basic income tax and surcharge together come to ₹10.125 crore. A 4% cess on this amount works out to ₹40.50 lakh.
This brings the total tax and cess deduction to approximately ₹10.53 crore.
After these deductions, the winner would receive around ₹16.47 crore from the ₹30 crore first prize.

The Onam Bumper lottery result will be determined in the draw at 2 pm on Saturday at Gorky Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
