Music director Ouseppachan at BJP event; B Gopalakrishnan urges him to contest Assembly polls
Thrissur: Music director Ouseppachan appeared at a BJP event. He attended and spoke at the inauguration of the BJP’s “Vikasana Sandesha Yatra.” BJP Kerala vice-president B Gopalakrishnan, speaking at the program, said that people like Ouseppachan should enter the Legislative Assembly as BJP representatives. Earlier, Ouseppachan had also participated in an event organised by the RSS. His presence at the BJP event has sparked speculation that he might contest the upcoming assembly elections as a BJP candidate. Alongside Ouseppachan, Fakrudeen Ali, a familiar face in channel discussions, also attended the BJP program.
“You are active both in the arts and in public debates. You are good with no blemishes. And people of those qualities are capable of serving the public. The Bharatiya Janata Party wishes for people like you to contest in the assembly elections. The BJP has opened its doors for you. Unlike other politicians who think only about competing or doing something for themselves, we do not share that mindset,” said Gopalakrishnan.
“Good people from society should come to our assembly beyond party politics. We do not need those who just show bravado or create trouble in the assembly. We need people who actually do something for Kerala. That is why people like you, and familiar personalities like him and Fakrudeen Ali should stand with the BJP in the name of positive politics rather than negative politics, contributing to development rather than staying distant,” he added.
Ouseppachan, speaking at the event, praised B Gopalakrishnan. “He is a person of strong thinking and determination,” said Ouseppachan. He stressed that all Indians, regardless of caste or religion, should stand united for the country’s progress.
“Today, our country is growing rapidly compared to other nations. It must reach even greater heights, and that requires everyone’s cooperation. Ideas may differ, like a mother and her children having different preferences, but they work together for their family. That is the duty of every Indian. I feel our beloved leader here, B Gopalakrishnan, is the most capable person for this. In his personal life, he works to resolve problems, difficulties, and complaints that arise. He performs this work in the public sphere, among our people and society, with a strong mind and firm determination,” said Ouseppachan.
