Minister Riyas marriage is 'prostitution', says Muslim League leader

Kozhikode: IUML state secretary Abdurahman Kallayi abused minister Mohammed Riyas and his wife Veena Vijayan at the 'Waqf Board Protection Rally' held by the party here.

While speaking at the event, he termed the marriage of Muhammed Riyas as 'prostitution'. One must have the courage to say it aloud, he said.

Attacking the ruling party on its stand on homosexuality, he said: "CPM, in its Lok Sabha election manifesto, said homosexuality must be legalised. The Supreme Court said a husband and wife can have sex with anyone with mutual consent. It is sexual anarchy," he said. He also slammed DYFI for supporting the SC verdict on legalising homosexuality.
