Moving school bus catches fire in Chengannur; students rescued safely

Chengannur: A school bus carrying 17 students went up in flames, however, all students were rescued safely. The bus belonging to Mannar Bhuvaneswari School had gone up in flames at around 8:30 AM while travelling on the Ala-Pennukkara temple road. 

After noticing smoke, the driver quickly pulled over, allowing the students to evacuate. 

Within minutes, the entire bus went up in flames. A team of fireforce arrived at the spot to douse the flames.

Police and officials of the Motor Vehicle Department inspected the vehicle post the incident.
