I know Monson; allegations fabricated by ‘black power’: K Sudhakaran

Kannur: Coming out strongly against all allegations over his involvement in the fraud committed by Monson Mavunkal, KPCC President K Sudhakaran said that there is a ‘black power’ plotting behind it.
“The allegations are baseless and I have no connection with the fraud. One cannot be blamed, if suspected the involvement of chief minister and his office in the allegation raised. I know Dr Monson. I even visited his house four or five times. He has a rich antique collection, that he claimed worth crores of rupees. I don’t know the other people involved in it as my intention was to meet Monson. I never had any discussion as alleged at his home,” said Sudhakaran.
“It was alleged that the incident happened on November 22, 2018. I was not an MP on the said period and not part of any committee. My party worker Shanavas died on November 21, 2018 and cremation was on 22nd. I came back from his house at 3pm. The allegations were fabricated and there is a black power behind it,” he added.
