Mathrubhumi's Neenu Mohan bags Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Media Award

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government announced the winners of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Media Awards for 2023 on Wednesday. The award is given to outstanding news reports on issues pertaining to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. 

Mathrubhumi Wayanad Staff Correspondent Neenu Mohan, clinched the prestigious Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Media Award for her series titled 'Ariyapedathoru Vamshahathya' in the print media.

Mangalam Senior Reporter P.V. Nisar received a special jury award for the 'Cholanayika Shokhanayika' series. In the visual media category, Mohammad Shafeeq's documentary 'Thogari', aired in the True Copy Think, secured the top spot, while 'Oru Ravulante Jeevitha Puraskaram' by VK Raghunath in Wayanad Vision earned a special jury award.

'Thudichetham Ooruvettam' produced by Poornima K. on Community Radio emerged victorious in the audio category.

Minister K. Radhakrishnan will present the cash awards and certificates during a conference at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club on January 10 at 3.30 pm.
