‘Mathrubhumi Aksharakkoottu’ launched at Amala and Prathyasa Bhavans in Kannur

Melechovva: The 'Mathrubhumi Aksharakkoottu' project has been launched at Amala Bhavan and Prathyasa Bhavan in Melechovva, Kannur. This initiative, supported by Kannur native Mili Bhaskar—recently crowned Mrs. Canada Earth 2024—aims to provide the Mathrubhumi newspaper and publications to the residents of these institutions.

Mili Bhaskar expressed her belief that fostering a reading habit, alongside practising yoga, can significantly alleviate mental stress.

The launch event was attended by Mathrubhumi regional manager Jagadeesh G., sales organiser V.P. Saju, and other notable figures including Sister Asha, T.C. Bhaskaran, K. Jayavalli, K.P. Rajeesh, K. Pradeepan, M. Rijin, Mathrubhumi SEED coordinator Bijisha Balakrishnan, Prathyasa Bhavan Superior Sister Jeena, and Sister Infant Mary.
