Man sans home or property wins 10 crore bumper lottery

 Alakode (Kannur): Kerala Government’s Rs 10 crore summer bumper lottery won by Alakode native Nassar (44). Having no home or place of his own, Nassar lives with his mother Maryam, aunt, and other relatives. 

Nassar, a class 7 drop out, used to drive tipper lorries and auto rickshaws for his livelihood  in Karthikapuram town. With the unexpected amount of fortune, Nassar wishes to help others who struggle, to build a home of his own and also to give his aunt the best possible treatment for her ailments.

Nassar’s father Sulaiman had died in a car accident six years ago. His son Nissar is learning religious studies in Kozhikode and daughter Nassil is a student of Chapparapadavu School.
