Idukki man found dead under mysterious circumstances in his house; heard gunshot, says family

Idukki: A man was found dead on Tuesday night under mysterious circumstances inside his house in Nedumkandam. The deceased has been identified as Sunny, a Mavady native. 

Police preliminary findings indicate that Sunny was shot dead. Furthermore, Sunny's wife and others reported hearing a gunshot from his room at 11 p.m. Later, his wife discovered him dead in his room, lying in a pool of blood. 

Police identified several wounds on his body, including those on his neck and hands. The probe is on.
