Man enters shop to steal after consuming drugs, passes out inside, arrested later

Mala: A man who consumed drugs and entered a shop to steal got trapped inside and was arrested by the police. The man collapsed in the middle of the theft and was unable to move. The others who were with him escaped when they could not get him out of the shop. The shop owner found the thief lying in a half-conscious state when he opened the shop the next day. The theft took place at a furniture shop in Pazhookara. 

Assam native Prasad Alok (39) was caught by Mala police. Three men had broken into the shop. Prasad who had consumed a drug namely cannabis was unable to move and could not escape. 

He could not be taken out of the shop by his accomplices. They fled when they realised there was nothing they could do. The visuals of the thieves were caught on CCTV camera. Prasad was remanded after being produced in front of the court.
