Man dies after consuming poison; wife succumbs to heart attack within hours

Kottarakara (Kollam): Ravindran Pillai (72), a resident of Plapally was found dead at his residence on Saturday morning. Poison was found in his body during postmortem.

A pesticide bottle was found lying beside the body, said police.

His wife Lalithanmbika (75), who was bedridden for long, died of heart attack later in the day.

The couple is survived by three children.
