Malayali officer in PM Modi’s SPG dies in road accident in Rajasthan

Chittarikkal (Kasargod): Shinsmon Thalachira (45), a Special Protection Group (SPG) officer assigned to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security force, died in a road accident in Rajasthan.

A native of Thalachira in Mandapam, Chittarikkal, Kasaragod, he was son of Thalachira Manikutty and Gracykutty. Shinsmon had been serving in the SPG for the past 23 years.

He is survived by wife, Jesmi, a nurse at Udayagiri in Kannur district, and two children, Fiona and Febin. The body will reach home on Friday.
