M Mukundan echoes MT's sentiment, levels sharp criticism towards those in power

Kozhikode: After MT’s sharp criticism of those in power at the inaugural ceremony of KLF (2024) a couple of days ago, fellow writer M Mukundan followed suit with strong remarks on ruling class at the literature festival on the closing day. 

“Those in power have actually tasted the joy of sitting on the throne, everybody seeks the crown,” said Mukundan.

“Hard work has taken a backseat in the modern day. People are power-hungry. Election is the only tool that we have in our hands to change this mindset and it is all the more important now!” added the veteran writer. 

M Mukundan also requested those in power to “make way for eligible people who are qualified enough to decorate those positions.”
