Kochi: Nuha Sajeev, mother of Suhail Sajeev, the prime accused in the tragic Nedumbassery Mini Cooper crash that claimed three lives, has opened up regarding the incident. In a video statement posted on Facebook, Nuha expressed deep grief over the tragedy, acknowledging the immense loss suffered by the victims’ families while pleading for her family's privacy amidst widespread social media scrutiny.

“Three precious lives have been lost. As a mother and a woman, I am posting this video to share my thoughts on the tragedy that unfolded,” Nuha stated in the video, offering her condolences to the bereaved families. “I know how painful it is to raise children with love and watch them pursue their dreams, only to lose them abruptly. The pain of losing one’s children is beyond imagination. I know my words cannot lessen their lifelong grief, but I express my deepest condolences.”

Addressing the ongoing legal proceedings, Nuha said, “Let the authorities investigate the events and people connected to the accident. Let the law take its course legally. Let everything happen truthfully. I only wish for the true facts to emerge.”

Acknowledging the public outrage following the accident, she appealed for understanding and privacy. “I know this issue is being widely discussed on social media, and I know people may feel anger and hatred towards us. In such a difficult situation, I request you to grant some privacy to me and my family. We are a family of four – ordinary people.”

“While unfounded news is being circulated, please remember that we are human beings and I am a mother. On one hand, I am deeply anxious about my child’s future, and on the other, I am grieving the loss of three young lives. I am caught between these two emotions,” she added, describing her physical and mental distress over the past few days.

Concluding her statement, Nuha pledged continued support to the families of the deceased, “As a mother and an entrepreneur, I offer my support to those families. As long as we live, we will support them. I am not trying to downplay anyone's pain. This is my helplessness. The four of us have a life ahead. When news is circulated about us, please remember that I am an ordinary mother and an ordinary human being just like you. I request everyone to refrain from spreading unverified claims about us.”
