Kodiyeri family should reveal source of income, demands K Sudhakaran

Palakkad: Congress leader K Sudhakaran demanded that former CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnman’s family should reveal the source of their assets. He was responding to the news that Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s wife Vinodini Balakrishnan was summoned by Customs for interrogation regarding the iPhone controversy related to Life Mission scam.

Sudhakaran also urged Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to reveal the source of initial capital of his daughter’s IT business.

The reports on Vinodini Balakrishnan receiving the iPhone is only the tip of the iceberg. There are bigger things yet to be revealed, he added.

“What was the situation that led to Kodiyeri’s long leave? It was not due to any disease or health issues. Though he had claimed he went for expert treatment, he didn’t. Vinodini’s iPhone is just a firecracker. Bigger bombs will blast against Pinarayi Vijayan and EP Jayarajan in coming days,” Sudhakaran stated.

He also stated that if UDF is voted to power, a probe will be launched against the illegal accumulation of assets by those in power now.
