LIFE Mission case: CM Raveendran will not appear before ED for questioning

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister’s Additional Private Secretary CM Raveendran will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday for questioning in the LIFE Mission scam case. 

According to reports, Raveendran has informed the agency that he cannot appear as the Assembly session is underway. ED had sent notice the previous day asking Raveendran to appear before the agency at the Kochi office by 10 am on Monday. 

Earlier, when the agency sent notice to Raveendran asking him to appear for questioning in relation to the gold smuggling case, he failed to do so and gave an explanation.

He reached the chief minister’s office in the Assembly on Monday morning.
