12 families stranded after landslide hits Kozhikode; houses damaged
Kozhikode: Heavy rainfall has triggered landslides in the Vilangad and Malayangad areas of Kozhikode, resulting in the destruction of the Malayangad bridge. Consequently, 12 families have been cut off from access. Four houses located near the river have been damaged, although no casualties have been reported.
The landslide has also impacted Maruthonkara village near Kuttiyadi, but no fatalities have been recorded.
The Palakkutty region in Koduvally has experienced waterlogging, leading to traffic disruptions along the Wayanad road.
