Thiruvananthapuram: Monalisa Bhonsle, the 18-year-old internet sensation who gained fame during the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, reportedly filed a complaint at Thampanoor police station in Thiruvananthapuram following a tense incident on a film set in Kerala.

Sources say Monalisa had been in a relationship with a young man named Muhammed Farman. When her father came to Kerala, the girl refused to return to the airport with him and instead approached the nearest police station in Thiruvananthapuram to lodge a formal complaint. The couple reportedly approached authorities after their families opposed their relationship, which began on Facebook around a year and a half ago. She was in Kerala for a film shoot in Poovar when the incident unfolded.

According to media reports, police summoned her father and mediated between the families. They reportedly assured him that, as an 18-year-old adult, she has the legal right to decide whom she lives with. After the intervention, she left the station with her boyfriend.
