Kerala Health Minister injury episode: Court refuses bail for KSU activists

Kannur: Kannur: The bail petition filed by KSU activists accused of attempting to murder Kerala Health Minister Veena George has been rejected. The decision came from the Kannur Judicial First Class Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
The court’s refusal means the accused will remain in custody until further proceedings.
The accused are expected to appear in court on Thursday, when their custody plea will also be considered.
Five KSU members, including the district president, are currently in remand in connection with the case. The court’s rejection of their bail keeps them in custody.
