VIDEO | KSRTC staff heroically rescue injured youth, transport to hospital

Kottayam: In a touching incident, KSRTC bus staff saved the life of a young man who was seriously injured in a bike accident and was lying on the road by taking him to a hospital in time. 

The accident took place at Mundakkayam on the national highway around 9 am. The KSRTC bus turned into a rescue vehicle for Abhijith, a native of Vandiperiyar in Idukki.

The accident occurred when Abhijith's bike collided with an auto-rickshaw and another scooter at Mundakkayam. The young man was lying bleeding on the road when the KSRTC passed by. The conductor of the bus, James Kuryan, a native of Kooropada, and the driver, K B Rajesh, a native of Cheruvalli, took him to the hospital.
