Gouri Amma's ashes immersed in Andhakaranazhi sea

Alappuzha: K R Gouri Amma’s grandnephew Dr Arun immersed her ashes in Andhakaranazhi sea. Arun’s sister Dr Anjana also accompanied him. Arun and Anjana are the children of Gouri Amma’s niece.

The rituals were finished on Saturday morning at Andhakaranazhi beach. A M Ariff MP was also present with the family members of Gouri Amma. 

The rituals began at the Kalathiparambil house near Andhakaranazhi at Cherthala around 9.30 am and the ashes were brought to the seashore at 10.30 am. 

Ashes of Gouri Amma’s father Raman and mother Parvathy was immersed in the waters of Andhakaranazhi earlier.
