Believers Church Metropolitan KP Yohannan suffers serious injuries in car accident in US

Dallas (USA): The Metropolitan Bishop of Believers Eastern Church, Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan (formerly known as K P Yohannan), was seriously injured in a car accident on Tuesday in Texas. 

The accident happened around 5:25 p.m Indian time. An unidentified vehicle hit him while he was out for a morning walk. He suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital. A spokesman for the church said that he underwent emergency surgery.

He usually goes for morning walk at the campus where the Texas headquarters of the Believers Eastern Church is located. But on Tuesday morning, he went outside the campus. He reached the United States four days ago.
