Head-on collision between 2 buses in Kozhikode’s Atholi; several injured | WATCH
Kozhikode: In a tragic incident, two private buses were involved in a head-on collision in Atholi here on Monday.
The accident happened around 2 pm. It is learnt that one bus was travelling from Kuttiady to Kozhikode, while the other was heading in the opposite direction. Both vehicles were reportedly moving at high speed, which is believed to have caused the collision.
Four individuals sustained serious injuries and are in critical condition. The injured were swiftly transported to a private hospital in Kozhikode. The buses were ferrying around hundreds of passengers at the time of the accident, as reported by Mathurbhumi News, citing local residents.
