Kollam woman ‘saves cost’ by growing ganja plant at home, arrested

Kottarakkara: Police have arrested a 60-year-old woman for growing ganja plant at home in Melila region of Kollam.  The woman has been identified as Tulasi, a native of Karani near Kaniyankuzhi here.

According to police, Tulasi who found buying ganja for personal use a costly affair, turned to growing the plant.

The plant is 10-feet long and has 61 branches.
