6-member Kerala family in Delhi survive COVID-19; 3 of them return to COVID service

New Delhi: When all six members including a 1-year-old baby of a Keralite family in Delhi was affected with COVID-19, they did not give up. As three of them were nurses, they had no choice but to fight back. Now all of them are completely cured and they even celebrated the return to normal life by cutting a cake. Also the three of them returned to duty for COVID service.
Kottayam Thalayolaparambu native Sujeesh (33), who works as a nurse in Delhi Ambedkar hospital, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 30. Later, his elder brother Sumesh, his wife Viswalakshmi, Sujeesh's wife Radhimol, their children Sera Shreyal (6) and Shaun Shreyas (1) also were tested positive for COVID-19. Radhimol and Sumesh also are working as nurses in Ambedkar hospital. Viswalakshmi also was a nurse in another private hospital.
Though all other family members turned negative for COVID soon, Sujeesh had to wait till fourth test to get negative result. Sujeesh, Sumesh and Radhimol joined duty from June 24. Sujeesh is also the president of nurses association in Ambedkar hospital.
