Thrissur: In connection with the suicide of a youth who failed to arrange bank loan for his sister's marriage, the fiance of the girl said that he never expected to get money out of marriage. Nidhin said that his only intention was to marry Vidya whom he loved for two-and-half years.

Nithin decided to go back to Gulf only after marrying Vidya even if his job in Sharjah is at stake. He was working as an A/C mechanic in Sharjah and his marriage was delayed due to the pandemic. He reached home only two weeks ago and the marriage was fixed on Sunday. His company has informed him to return by January 2022.

Though he told Vidya's brother Vipin to conduct the marriage in a simple way, Vipin wished to gift jewellery for his sister.

Vipin requested Nithin to click himself for a photo on Monday. Following this, Nithin went to the studio and dropped Vidya near a jewellery store on the request of Vipin.

Vipin and family selected the jewellery, and he left, assuring his mother and sister that he would be back with money soon. Even after waiting for hours, Vipin did not return and did not pick calls too. The family soon called Nithin and informed the matter. Vipin was found dead when they reached the house at Kunduvara.
