With a high risk of flash floods and landslides, state authorities have activated emergency protocols and issued a comprehensive safety blueprint for residents.
Orange alert: high risk (115.6 mm to 204.4 mm in 24 hours)

Expect isolated, extremely heavy downpours capable of causing immediate flooding.
Yellow alert: moderate to heavy rain (64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours)

- 07/07/2026: Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod
