Thiruvananthapuram: According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall is expected across isolated regions in Kerala over the next five days, spanning from August 14 to August 18. While the heavy spell is primarily concentrated on August 14, intermittent showers will continue across various parts of the state through the weekend.
Strong gusty winds expected today
In addition to heavy rainfall, the IMD has warned of strong surface winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 km/h in isolated areas across Kerala on Friday, August 14. Residents in hilly regions and coastal sectors are advised to exercise caution regarding potential falling tree branches and wind-related hazards.
