Kerala man from Thiruvananthapuram dies in Israel; relatives appeal for swift action

Thiruvananthapuram: Relatives have been informed that a native of Kallambalam, Thiruvananthapuram, has died in Israel. Suresh Sundaresan (42), from Kallambalam, was confirmed dead by the Malayali community in Israel, who contacted his family. Following the news, the family filed a complaint with the Kallambalam police.
Suresh had gone to Israel on a labour visa one year ago. He had returned to Kerala six months ago due to the death of his mother. His last phone conversation with family was on March 17, during which he reportedly spoke about the conflict near his workplace. In his final voice message to relatives, he mentioned stepping outside to buy vegetables. It is not yet confirmed whether Suresh’s death was related to attacks in the ongoing conflict.
Suresh’s wife works in Kuwait. The couple has two children, studying in seventh and fifth grades. Relatives have approached Attingal MP Adoor Prakash and Varkala MLA V Joy to ensure that necessary arrangements are made to bring Suresh’s body home as soon as possible.
