Thiruvananthapuram, October 25: The Kerala State Lottery Department announced the Karunya KR-728 lottery results today, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 3 pm. The live draw took place at 3 pm at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram.

The first prize winner will receive ₹1 crore, followed by ₹25 lakh for the second prize, and ₹10 lakh for the third prize.

How to Claim Kerala Lottery Prize Money

Winners must verify their ticket numbers against the official results before claiming. Prize claims should be submitted within 30 days of the draw date.

Required documents:

• Original winning lottery ticket (self-attested on both sides)
• Passport-size photo (attested by a Gazetted Officer)
• Self-attested copy of PAN card (mandatory)
• Valid ID and address proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Ration Card, or PAN)
• Filled claim form with revenue stamp

Where to claim:

• Up to ₹5,000: Any authorised Kerala Lottery agent
• Up to ₹1 lakh (within Kerala): District Lottery Office
• Up to ₹1 lakh (outside Kerala): Directorate of State Lotteries
• ₹1–20 lakh: Deputy Director of State Lotteries
• Above ₹20 lakh: Director of State Lotteries

Tax and commission deductions

As per government regulations, a 30% tax will be deducted from the prize amount. Additionally, the ticket agent who sold the winning ticket will receive a 10% commission, deducted from the total prize.

Participants are strongly encouraged to use the official Kerala Lottery barcode scanner to confirm ticket authenticity before submitting a claim. This step ensures that all winning tickets are verified and prevents fraudulent claims.
