Thiruvananthapuram: People will have to submit complaints and petitions to Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala's office online from November 3, as the minister prepares to shift to a fully digital system.

Announcing the move on Sunday, Chennithala said a dedicated dashboard would help the public submit their grievances and remain connected with his office.

The platform will also allow applicants to track the progress of their petitions and receive updates on their status. The system is intended to ensure that complaints are addressed promptly, he said in a post on X.

The initiative comes as the Kerala Police already provide online complaint submission facilities through a dedicated portal and mobile application.

However, officials said a large number of people continued to approach police stations in person to submit petitions, despite the availability of digital options.
