Kerala HC bribery case: Commissioner’s report reveals serious offences against Adv Saiby Jose

Kochi: Ernakulam City Police Commissioner has recommended to initiate a detailed probe against Kerala High Court lawyer Saiby Jose Kidangoor after submitting a report of serious allegations against the lawyer. The lawyer has been accused of receiving bribes from clients in the name of influencing the High Court judges. Earlier, the Vigilance wing of Kerala high Court had conducted a probe on the matter. 

City police commissioner K Sethuraman submitted the report to the state police chief Anil Kant on Saturday. Police department will decide over registering an FIR in the case after examining the commissioner’s report. 

Police have examined various documents related to the case and collected the statements of 14 persons, including the accused Saiby Jose on Thursday and Friday.
