CPM to field 12 women candidates including 8 new faces
Thiruvananthapuram: CPM will field 12 women candidates in the Kerala assembly polls. Out of this, 8 are new faces in politics.
In the 2016 polls, CPM had fielded 12 women in the electoral fray.
Apart from ministers J Mercykutty Amma, KK Shailaja, MLAs Veena George and U Prathibha, the other 8 are contesting the polls for the first time.
