PM to virtually flag off Vande Bharat extended till Mangaluru

 Kannur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to flag off the extension of service of second Vande Bharat Express allotted to Kerala , which operates between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod, to Mangaluru on Tuesday, through online.  Though, the train does not operate service on Tuesdays, there would be a special service on Tuesday from Mangaluru to Thiruvananthapuram, after the official  inauguration in the morning at 9.15. 

Students would be given chance to travel from Mangaluru to Kasaragod on Tuesday in connection with the inauguration of the extension of service. The train would get receptions at stations too. 

As of now, on Mondays  Vande Bharat does not provide service from Thiruvananthapuram and on Tuesdays the train does not operate service from Kasaragod as well. From July 5, the train will provide service on every day except on Wednesdays. To accommodate passengers who have already booked, the train will provide service on all days till July 4.

At present, the train starts from Kasaragod at 7 am. To accommodate the present timing, the train will start from Mangaluru  at 6.25 am and will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 3.05 pm. The train will start the return journey at 4.05 pm . It will reach Kasargod at 11.45 pm and Mangaluru  at 12.40 am.
