Kerala School Olympics to be held in every four years

Thiruvananthapuram: Announcing big changes in the school sports fair, Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty said henceforth a School Olympics will be held once in four years as an elaborate event. 

The Education Minister announced this in a press conference. A sports fair will be held every year. School Olympics will be held only once in four years. The Minister also said that the sports fair and Olympics will be held together this time.

This year's school art festival will be held in Thiruvananthapuram in December. It will be conducted as per the updated manual of the festival. This time the arts of indigenous people (tribal people) will also be a competition item.
