No evidence found against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar, says DGP's probe report

Thiruvananthapuram: An investigation report has found no evidence against Kerala ADGP (Law and Order) M.R. Ajith Kumar regarding the allegations made by Nilambur MLA P.V. Anvar.
Police Chief Shaik Darvesh Saheb submitted the report to the Home Secretary on Saturday, stating that Anvar's allegations are unfounded.
Recently, a series of allegations against Ajith Kumar emerged, initiated by Anvar, who claimed that Kumar had involvement in gold smuggling-related murders and suggested that Kumar's role model is Dawood Ibrahim. Anvar had also accused Ajith Kumar of tapping phone calls of ministers and journalists. Anvar has accused Kumar and IPS officer Sujith Das S of misappropriation of seized gold.
Anvar's allegations
Left-backed independent MLA P.V. Anvar has raised serious allegations against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's political secretary, P. Sasi, ADGP Kumar, and Pathanamthitta SP Sujith.
He claimed that the Chief Minister's political secretary and ADGP breached the trust of the Chief Minister and failed to fulfill their responsibilities honestly. P.V. Anvar also stated that he was conducting a sting operation to expose a conspiracy against the government.
He further alleged that, with the ADGP's knowledge, non-bailable offences were filed against several CPM workers who prevented a group of politically motivated YouTubers from disrupting the Arikode leg of the Chief Minister's Nava Kerala Sadas, a public outreach programme held in November last year.
