Kerala issues order banning disruptive gatherings at government offices

Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has issued an order prohibiting unauthorised gatherings that disrupt the functioning of government offices.
It was observed that cultural forums and departmental gatherings organised in government offices, in ways that interfere with office activities, do not adhere to the existing conduct rules and guidelines for government employees. The government’s directive strictly advises against such practices.
The order, issued by Veena N Madhavan, special secretary of the Administrative Reforms Department, also instructs authorities concerned to exercise particular vigilance in this regard.
