Kozhikode: Making his stance clear, senior Congress leader K  Muraleedharan said that he will not leave the party even if he is kicked out. Murlaleedharan also said he did not participate in the Wayanad camp as he did not want the Thrissur defeat to be discussed. He also told the media that he would not cause any bad reputation to his father and veteran leader K Karunakaran again.

Muraleedharan, who had finished third in the race to Parliament from Thrissur constituency in the recently held general elections, said T N Prathapan and Shanimol Usman have not raised any criticism against him in the Wayanad camp.

He also welcomed the move in which senior leaders were given responsibility for local elections. “It is a good decision to give Kannur to K Sudhakaran and Kozhikode to Ramesh Chennithala. The leaders should be centred in each place to work, instead of running around and preaching,” he said .

Stating that his vote is in Thriuvananthapuram, the former Vadakara MP also said that he would help P C Vishnunath there and that this is how things should be done.

Behind the posters against Thiruvananthapuram DCC president Palode Ravi are those who do it in the dark, Muraleedharan said. Such people should be kicked out of the party, he added.

While speaking to the media in Kozhikode, Muraleedharan also denied any issues at the DCC meeting in Thiruvananthapuram.
