Revelation of seeing Jesna: CBI takes statement of ex-employee of Mundakkayam lodge for over 2 hrs

Kottayam: In the Jesna disappearance case, the CBI has recorded the statement of the former employee of the lodge at Mundakkayam. On Wednesday, the detailed statement of the employee was taken for two and a half hours by the CBI team.
The ex-employee of the lodge responded that she had told the CBI everything she had to say and felt guilty for the delay in making the disclosure. The CBI also informed that a detailed investigation is going on in the case.
A few days ago, the ex-employee disclosed that she had seen Jesna at the lodge at Mundakkayam days before she went missing. The employee had said that a young man was there with Jesna that day, and that she later recognised Jesna after seeing a photograph in the newspaper. The employee alleged that the lodge owner had threatened her not to disclose the matter. At the same time, the lodge owner's response was that the ex-employee was making such allegations because of personal enmity towards him.
Following the lodge employee's disclosure, the CBI team decided to investigate the matter. The team arrived at Mundakkayam the other day. The team had taken a detailed statement from the lodge owner earlier. The lodge was also inspected. It was only after that the statement of the former staff was recorded.
