Fake news on death of CPI candidate appears in BJP mouthpiece

Kozhikode: A fake news appeared in the BJP mouthpiece Janmabhumi on the death of a CPI candidate from Nattika. The obituary page featured the death news of CPI candidate from Nattika C C Mukundan. The obit news appeared on Sunday.

The news appeared in the Thrissur edition of Janmabhumi.  After creating a stir, the e-paper has been withdrawn. CPI informed that legal action will be initiated against the newspaper.
