Pooja Bumper lottery results declared; first prize worth Rs 5 cr

Thiruvananthapuram: This year’s Pooja Bumper Lottery ticket results has been declared. The first prize worth Rs 5 crore was won by ticket number RA 591801. It has been found that the prize-winning ticket was sold at Thiruvananthapuram.

The sale of lottery tickets had broken all records as more people have started purchasing lottery. This time, 37 lakh tickets of Pooja Bumper were sold whereas 30 lakhs were sold last year. 54 lakh tickets of Onam Bumper were sold earlier this year.

A total of 24 lakh tickets of the Christmas-New Year Bumper lottery have been printed. More tickets will be printed, if necessary, the lottery department informed. The first prize is worth Rs 12 crore and ticket costs Rs 300.
