Thiruvananthapuram: The Election Commission has published details of individuals who may be excluded from the voter list under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Kerala. Voters can check their details at https://www.ceo.kerala.gov.in/asd-list.

If a voter has been wrongly excluded, they must contact their Booth Level Officer (BLO) or party representative on Thursday and submit the required SIR form to ensure their name is included in the draft electoral roll.

Last chance to submit SIR forms

December 18 is the final opportunity to submit the completed SIR form. Although political parties requested an extension, it has not been granted. The exclusion list includes serial number, voter ID, name, relative’s name and reason for exclusion. Categories include deceased voters, those who have changed residence, untraceable voters and duplicate entries. Forms that cannot be submitted or returned are marked as EF.

How to check the list

  1. Visit https://www.ceo.kerala.gov.in/asd-list
  2. Select your district, assembly constituency and polling station
  3. Click “Download” to view voter details

The list includes reasons for exclusion such as deceased voters, permanent address change, untraceable voters, multiple entries, and failure to submit forms.

What to do if your name is missing

If your name is missing without valid reason, contact your BLO immediately and submit the SIR form on Thursday. Names of those submitting forms on the day will be included in the draft electoral roll published on December 23.

After publication, booth-wise lists of excluded voters will be displayed on electoral officer notice boards and on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website. Approved political parties and BLOs will also receive copies.

Complaints and objections can be filed from December 23 to January 22, along with an affidavit. NRIs can use Form 6A to include their names, while address changes or corrections require Form 8, available at https://voters.eci.gov.in/.

Voters who fail to submit required information will be called for hearings by the ERO. If still excluded, a first appeal can be made to the District Election Officer, and a second appeal to the Chief Electoral Officer within 30 days. The final electoral roll will be published on February 21. Names can be added or corrected up to the last date for submitting nomination papers for assembly elections.

Over 25 lakh voters remain untraceable, and BLOs along with political party representatives are working to locate them. Those not traced will not appear in the draft roll. All voters who have submitted forms will be included.

Lists of missing, relocated or deceased voters (ASD) have already been provided to BLOs. After the draft roll is published, booth-wise exclusion lists will be displayed for public scrutiny, and objections can be submitted between December 23 and January 22. Voters who fail to provide necessary details will be called for hearings by EROs (electoral registration officers).
