Ankola (Karnataka): Even as Arjun's lorry was found during the search in Ankola, the weather conditions are deteriorating making the search in the area difficult.

The heavy rains continue to lash Shirur. Also, the current in the river continues to be strong. With this, the Navy team which had started the search has now returned.

The flood in the river is becoming a big problem for the rescue workers. Although the authorities say that the search will continue at night, they are doubtful about how they can proceed with the search in case of adverse weather conditions. Three lorries have been washed away in the landslide that occurred on July 16 at Shirur near Ankola.

A Coast Guard helicopter will arrive shortly.  The Navy's scuba diving group is also there on the spot.
