Aroor: Kerala Police confiscated hash oil from three Plus 1 students near Aroor in Alappuzha on Monday, while a ganja plant was found at one student’s residence. The plant was found in a steel glass filled with soil.

In the wake of intensified efforts by the police and excise departments to curb drug-related activities across the state, the Aroor police conducted an investigation after suspecting the involvement of certain students.

Acting on a tip-off, officials inspected the students’ residences. During the search, hash oil was recovered from one home, while a cannabis plant was found at another. Since the individuals involved are minors, action has been initiated under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
