Guruvayur: A stunning miniature model of the Guruvayur Temple, crafted from 5,000 coconut leaf sticks, captivated devotees when it was unveiled on Sunday evening. The intricate model was displayed inside the temple for public viewing.

The creation, designed and presented by Marokki Biju, a native of Kottapady, was formally handed over to Guruvayur Devaswom Board Chairman VK Vijayan in the presence of MLA NK Akbar in the temple premises.

Devaswom Administrative Committee member C Manoj and Temple Manager Leijumol also attended the event. Following the ceremony, the model was placed outside the temple wall for devotees to admire.

Measuring six feet long, four feet wide, and two and a half feet high, the model features detailed replicas of the eastern lamp post, temple wall, gopuram, and flagpole, all intricately built from coconut leaf sticks, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
