Greeshma acted like born criminal, administering poison with 100% fatality rate: Sharon's brother

Thiruvananthapuram: Greeshma exhibited the attitude of a hardened criminal from the very beginning, said Sharon's brother and Ayurvedic doctor Shimon Raj, after the court's verdict. Speaking to the media, Shimon expressed that they were completely satisfied with the judgment.
"We handed over all the evidence we had to the police, and they too gathered a lot of evidence. That is how we were able to achieve such a verdict. Initially, there were some issues with the Parassala Police, but the Crime Branch provided excellent support, and later, the Parassala Police also assisted us," Shimon Raj shared.
"Greeshma displayed the attitude of a bone-crushing criminal. The poison she gave Sharon was a hundred percent lethal. She carefully selected that poison, and through investigations after Sharon's death, it became clear that Greeshma had other connections," Shimon alleged.
The court pronounced the sentence in the Sharon murder case on Monday. The first accused, Greeshma, was sentenced to death, with the court noting that Greeshma’s age could not be taken into account in the punishment. The court also dismissed the argument that Greeshma had no criminal background. The second accused, Greeshma's maternal uncle, Nirmalakumaran Nair, was sentenced to three years in prison.
