Gang attacks cops with pepper spray during temple festival; 2 injured

Alappuzha: Two cops were assaulted by a gang during a temple festival here on Tuesday. The gang had reportedly attacked cops after spraying pepper on their faces. 

CPO Praveen, who suffered grave injuries in the attack, is admitted to a hospital in Parumala. 

The incident happened at Devikulangara Temple, Puthuppally, on Tuesday night. More details are awaited.
