Track maintenance to disrupt train services in Kerala on Sept 17, 30; details inside

Kozhikode, Kerala: Several train services in the Palakkad division will be partially cancelled, rescheduled or regulated on select days in September due to track maintenance works at various locations, according to railway authorities.

The changes will affect services operating through Kannur and Kozhikode, with some trains being short-terminated before their scheduled destinations.

Partial cancellation

Train No. 16307 Alappuzha–Kannur Express departing from Alappuzha on Sept. 17 will be short-terminated at Koyilandy. The service between Koyilandy and Kannur will remain cancelled.

Train No. 12082 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express departing from Thiruvananthapuram Central on Sept. 17 will be short-terminated at Elathur. Its service between Elathur and Kannur will be cancelled.

Train No. 16608 Coimbatore–Kannur Express departing from Coimbatore on Sept. 30 will be short-terminated at Koyilandy, with the service between Koyilandy and Kannur partially cancelled.

Train No. 16307 Alappuzha–Kannur Express departing from Alappuzha on Sept. 30 will be short-terminated at Elathur. The service between Elathur and Kannur will be cancelled.

Train No. 12082 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express departing from Thiruvananthapuram Central on Sept. 30 will be short-terminated at Kozhikode. Its service between Kozhikode and Kannur will be partially cancelled.

Mangaluru–Hyderabad train rescheduled

Train No. 07098 Mangaluru Central–Hyderabad Special Express, scheduled to depart from Mangaluru Central at 8.30 p.m. on Sept. 17, will instead leave at 9 p.m. The train will be delayed by 30 minutes.

Two trains to be regulated en route

Train No. 16630 Mangaluru Central–Thiruvananthapuram Central Malabar Express departing from Mangaluru Central on Sept. 17 will be regulated for 60 minutes during its journey.

Train No. 12431 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajadhani Superfast Express, departing from Thiruvananthapuram Central on Sept. 17, will be regulated for 40 minutes en route.
