Kochi: The Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) have arrested five individuals who imported illegal drugs from abroad via postal service here. The accused is said to have brought LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) to Kerala via a post office on Chittoor Road in the city.

The parcels were addressed in the names of history sheeters Sharath, an Alappuzha native, Sharon and Ebin, both hailing from Kakkanad. The search based on the parcels led NCB officials to the accused.

NCB conducts raids in various locations, including Kochi, Kakkanad, Aluva and Eroor. A total of 300 LSD stamps imported from several countries, including Germany, were seized by the NCB officials. The accused is known to have been selling drugs in the city and nearby areas.
